Who we are
FloorFix Pros is a free referral service that connects homeowners with independent, local flooring contractors. FloorFix Pros does not perform flooring work. Contractors in our network are independent businesses responsible for their own quotes, work, licensing, and insurance.
Information we collect
Information you give us: when you request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, email address (if provided), ZIP code, the type of repair, your timeline, any description or photo you upload, and the page you submitted from.
Information collected automatically: like most websites, we collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and how you arrived at our site (for example, the ad or search you clicked). We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to do this.
How we use your information
To connect you with independent flooring contractors who can quote and perform your repair; to contact you about your request; to measure and improve our website and advertising; to prevent fraud and spam; and to comply with the law.
How we share your information
With contractors: we share your request details and contact information with up to three independent flooring contractors in our network who serve your area, so they can contact you. Contractors may pay us for these referrals. Each contractor's use of your information is governed by its own privacy practices.
With service providers: companies that host our website, process form submissions, and provide analytics and advertising services, such as Netlify, Google, and Meta.
For legal reasons: when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Advertising & analytics
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our site and to measure and improve our ads. These services may use cookies and may receive information such as pages visited and whether a quote request was submitted. When you submit a request, we may send a securely hashed (encoded) version of your email or phone number to Google and Meta to measure ad performance.
You can limit ad personalization through Google Ad Settings and Meta Ad Preferences, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and block cookies in your browser settings.
Calls & text messages
If you submit a request, you agree that we and up to three contractors may contact you by phone, text, and email about your request, which may include calls or texts sent with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or contact us to be removed from further contact.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop sharing it with contractors going forward. To make a request, email services@floorfixpros.com. Information already shared with a contractor is also subject to that contractor's own policies.
Data retention & security
We keep request information as long as needed to provide our service and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
